ASIENCE has just launched a new treatment hair mask which will be released to hypermarkets from June 2014 onwards. What's so special about it? It intensively moisturizes and heals hair, repairing it from inside-out for smooth and soft locks. The moisturizing effects last up to 96 hours after one application.

Do you know that ASIENCE products are specially made for Asian hair? Their new treatment hair mask contains natural asian beauty essences like lotus flower, korean ginseng, camellia oil, aloe essence, pearl and shell ginger leaf that keep hair hydrated and moisturized.

The top photo is how my hair looked like before applying Asience Treatment Hair Mask. As you can see, my hair looks so terribly dry and frizzy. The bottom photo was taken right after the application. My hair feels so much softer and I totally love its light oriental fragrance that comes with it. As I've gotten a korean perm from Silkcut salon recently, (read my experience with Silkcut salon here: http://honeyflowerr.blogspot.com/2014/05/hair-journey-part-one-korean-perm.html Quote 'KELLY' to enjoy 10% off) my hair got whole lot drier than before and I really need hair care product that makes wonders for my hair texture. This ASIENCE treatment hair mask came to me just at the right time. I've been using ASIENCE inner rich treatment all along and it really helps smoothen my hair after every application. Even since then I've became a fan of ASIENCE products. This treatment hair mask is kind of similar to the one I am using but even better, its effect last up to 96hours! You only need to use them once a week to achieve good results.

You can now get your free sample from http://www.ksgpromo.com/AsienceMask You can purchase them from Cold Storage, NTUC and Sheng Siong from June 2014 onwards.

Hair Journey Part One: Korean Perm @ Silkcut Salon

First, let me post a selfie with my new hair before I start.

What is the IN thing nowadays? The answer is none other than Korean related stuffs like Kpop, Kdramas, Stylenanda and Ulzzangs. Even for hair, the latest trend is also Korean related. Yes, I'm referring to Korean perm. Wanna look pretty just like the girls in those kdramas? Hair plays a big part in looking good.

Visited Silkcut Salon today with my hideous hair this morning in a terrible condition. My hair gets oily real easily and the weather of Singapore often make it worst. Due to that, I ended up troubling the lady to shampoo my hair for a few times before apply the perming chemical. Wendy was my stylist for the day but almost everyone did something for my hair today.

A photo before perming. of my really terrible hair...

The chemical was supposingly to be left on my head for 15min but right after Wendy applied it, she noticed something was wrong and washed it off right away hence the chemical only stayed on my head for about 2min. I didn't know there is bleaching chemical on my hair as I've not been told by any of my past stylists before. The only time I bleached my hair was 5years back which should not be a problem for perming now. Both Geri and Wendy panicked and so did I. The reason all of us got worried is because this could results in really burnt and damaged hair after the perm. Imagine going to some salon whereby the stylist isn't careful and observant enough then that's for your hair. I should really count myself lucky to have a group of professional stylists serving me. As the chemical were only left for 2min on my head, some parts may not have absorbed it. I was quite worried about the outcome but I feel like I'm in safe hands.

Low heat was used on my perm in order not to further damage my hair. Therefore a longer time was needed. I've heard of some horrible experiences about hair perming in which some got their hair burnt and damaged after perming, they were left with no choice but to snip off their hair. I WILL NEVER WANT THAT TO HAPPEN TO ME! In some salon, the stylist will just set the heat to its highest without giving a second thought of how damage your hair will be after the perm and I guess that's how some people ended up having 'grass' instead of beautiful perm.

Tada!! Here is the final outcome of the perm which I am really satisfied. It gives my hair body and volume. My hair texture is pretty soft after the session. It is definitely dry but that's a common thing for permed hair so I do not worry about that. I just need to maintain them well.

Pardon my messy hair colours. Gonna get them fixed soon!

I'd like to express my gratitude to the Silkcut team especially Geri and Wendy for putting in so much effort on my hair. It makes me feel good to see the team discussing on what's the best for my hair because I know they're truly sincere in wanting the best for me. They are most concern about the texture which means quality. Hair textures are really important. Nobody will look good in any hairstyle with poor hair texture. Texture comes first. Guess I've learnt quite a lot of hair knowledge today! The products used for this korean perm are from shiseido japan which from what I know is a really good brand. I can't wait to do my hair colour with them again but in the meanwhile, my hair needs to rest. Wonder what colour will it be this time round. Thank you Silkcut for having me. It was a really pleasant experience with them. :)

Shopping with 65daigou

Hey guys! I've bet many of you have definitely heard of Taobao, the popular online shopping site where cheap loots can be found but how many of you have actually shopped with them before? I've recently started to shop at Taobao and got really addicted to it. Frequently asked by many "Isn't it troublesome to purchase from Taobao?" "The site is full of chinese words, I don't understand at all..." "Is it safe? don't feel secure to buy from Taobao!" Oh yes, some of these were my concern too until I came to know about 65daigou (links at the bottom), a trustworthy singapore taobao agent. How does it works? Basically, 65daigou has got two warehouses in China, one in Shanghai and another one in Guangzhou. Your goods will be send to the China warehouse before shipping to Singapore warehouse. You will be able to track your order on 65daigou site, making the purchase experience a safe one. 65daigou will be liaising with the seller in your place.

All you have to do is to insert the product URL into the EZ-BUY search bar
On [Your Remark] key in the colour, sizing then choose the warehouse and the method of shipping you prefer. Best is to set a default warehouse for all your items.

You can always check your order status. You will be required to top up money into your Prepay account before being able to make a purchase. They accept ibanking, credit/debit cards and other ways of transfer.

Once the items arrive, there is another round of payment for the shipping and agent fees. They have a few different delivery types to choose from. Home delivery whereby someone will send the items to you personally but an additional $5 is required. MRT stations pick up and Neighbourhood collection are the most convenient way which are free of charge.

Difference between buying directly from Taobao and Purchasing from 65daigou:

  • via Taobao
Advantage: No Agent fee

Disadvantage(s): As all prices are in Chinese Yuan aka RMB, you will have to convert into SGD yourself and may varies based on the currency rate that your Credit Card is charging. Special request or enquiry to seller have to be done by yourself in Chinese through Ali Wang Wang (China Messenger). Setup needed to start: Taobao account, Ali Wang Wang software, AliPay account (China PayPal).

  • via 65daigou
Advantage(s): Everything is converted into SGD once added into 65daigou’s shopping cart. Even when you buy from 101 different sellers on Taobao, you will only need to liaise with 65daigou with all correspondence clearly reflected in your orders. There are 3 types of international shipping methods ranging from time-saving express air to cost-saving sea shipment. Collection can be done conveniently at their warehouses, selected MRT stations, or even neighbourhood points! You can also opt for home delivery that is cheaper than cab fare. You can make pre-sale, during sale and post-sale enquiry in English to 65daigou. Items are not only consolidated, but also being repacked to save on shipping. Order status are updated promptly. Don’t you feel more assured?

Disadvantage: Agent fee involved.

GLOMAX Aesthetics - The Face Artistry

Last week, I was invited to Glomax Aesthetics - The Face Artistry for a complimentary facial treatment! As someone who doesn't often go to facial, this invite is a bonus for my skin. Just in time for my bad complexion lately! At first, I hesitated to make a visit down because of pass bad facial experience but I've heard raving reviews of Glomax from other bloggers so I decide to take the risk and go along with it.

It was located at Central mall SOHO 2 which you will have to alight at Clark Quay Station! Go to the exit near Yakun and cross the road, You are there already! The building is bascially an office building hence the security was pretty tight over there. You are required to make a call to the Aesthetic before entering the towel. Go to level 6 and walk thru the long walking path shown above.

The place resembles a tiny household. It looks pretty comfortable to me. I was greeted by friendly Evon (hope I didn't get her name wrong) and she actually taught me a lot of knowledge about my skin which I didn't known of. Now I know the importance of Sunblock hahaha! She recommended to try out their Intensive Acne Medic Treatment as i was having some breakouts currently.

The toy actually tells you about how pimples and acnes are form.

I had my treatment done by Pik San who was also really friendly to throughout the session. The whole session starts from a sonic cleansing that gently lifts impurities and dirt off skin surface before the problem areas are healed with a mild antiseptic high frequency. Combined with acne IPL to rebalance the sebum level. Not forgetting the extractions of blackheads that could hurts a little but I guess it is all worth it. I was given a charcoal mask for soothing and detox purposes at the end of the session. My complexion really feels so much better right after the treatment. Leave aside my breakouts, my face feel so much cleaner and brighter. No swollen blemish cheeks! :')

For people who have breakouts and bad acne problems, do give Glomax a try! I believe they will be able to help you out! Quote "Blogger Kelly" to enjoy Intensive Acne Medic Treatment 60mins at only $88* UP$150! Other than the above treatment, they also offer other kind of facial treatments.
