Renaza 8th Anniversary

Was honoured enough to be invited down to Renaza 8th Anniversary last friday together with Wenhui and her plus one. Had a really great afternoon being pampered like a queen there. Also, I got to met up with Cherie and some of the clozette team.

Don't wanna look too HUGE beside this two petite girls so there goes my awkward legs *oops*

We were given a lucky draw card each

But sadly, sorry is what I get :(
First, we headed to the nail spa room. All 3 of us decided to go for the Hand Paraffin Treatment instead of express manicure.

This is my first time doing the Hand Paraffin Treatment. The purpose of this treatment is to soften and smoothen our overworked hands using the wax.

The wax is kind of hot at first so you got to bear with the temperature for a short while. I can really see a different right after the treatment. The wax was absorbed by my skin creating a layer of shine on its appearance.

Here are some promotional prices for their services

Next, I headed to the Scars Reduction Treatment room. I have some obvious scars on my kneels since secondary school after one unfortunate event of bus chasing. It helped to remove my dead skin and whiten the affected area. I also had the Jade Gua Sha Massage done after that which helps to relax my neck and shoulders. Other than the above services mentioned, we were also allowed to try out their Beautiful Lips Treatment that helps to give the lips a fuller luscious look but I didn't went for it.

A short live demo session of the latest Derma Roller after we were done with the treatments.

Drink Bar

The Queen of Rose cocktails are sooooo good. I can't express how in love I was!

I swear they were really generous with the variety of food. We got so much to choose from. Really feel like a queen!! Of course, we tried everything.

The mussels are our favourite!

My second favourite of all!

The brownies are good!

My plate without desserts yet. We actually had a second round HAHA!

Thank you Renaza and Clozette for the invite! I really enjoyed myself with the services and the....food!! The staffs there are really friendly too. Renaza is conveniently located at Palais Renaissance, #03-10 390 Orchard Road. (Besides Orchard Tower) Feel free to check them out.

Back to Silkcut Salon (Part 3)

Finally made a trip down to Silkcut Salon again few days back. My hair had been in a really terrible condition recently and what that has been bothering me the most is none other than those ugly black roots. Wendy, my hairstylist suggested me to get a darker shade of brown this time round followed by some colour treatment for a different look.

Ugly roots and uneven shades of colour

My hair looked so frizzy...(like lion)

They used the Elumen hair care series to enhance the colours of my hair! Bet just like me, many of you may not be familiar with the Elumen colour treatment yet. So here's a quick read up of it for people who wanna have a better understanding of the products: http://www.goldwell-northamerica.com/site/images/pdfs/products/Elumen_Sales%20Brochure.pdf I personally find it pretty good as it helps to make your hair colours more vibrant and long lasting without damaging your hair.

Just like the previous time, I did a treatment using the Moroccanoil hair mask which is super good for repairing damaged hair. Unlike many hair care products that carry a strong and unbearable smell, I really liked the scent of this product itself.

Love this duo colours combination!

I was really happy to see the outcome of my hair!!

The pink looks really nice with this shade of brown.

Yay ^^v

Let me take some selfies ~

I looked like two different person before and after going to the salon! I looked really wild when I just entered the salon but with this colour, I became so much more feminine now! Perhaps, I personally preferred dark colours thus I immediately fell in love with my new hair!

Got these KMS Curl up series which are specially meant for permed hair home but have yet to try them out. Will review on these products soon. Wendy is so cute as she keeps nagging at me to style my hair on a daily basis. I shall be more hardworking and not let her effort gone to waste.

Anyway, I was told that they had recently brought in the Kerasilk Keratin treatment which were meant for dry and frizzy hair that can last up to 5 months! Read this up http://www.goldwell.com/en-gb/products/care/kerasilk for more information.  Once again, thanks to the professional team at Silkcut my hair crisis is over. Never fails to walk out the salon feeling good. -flip hair-

Hair Journey @ Silkcut Salon Part Two

Okay I really don't know why did I made this face or was it an accidental shot while I was trying to take selfies of my new hair HAHA! Visited Silkcut salon again this afternoon. Spotted something different about my hair? Yes a more vibrant shade of copper with a some red tint on the tips.

Here's a before photo of my really messed up hair. Look at those fugly black roots . My previous hair colour has faded unevenly leaving me with all shades of colour on my hair.

(In the process...) Oh yeah, I actually bumped into Ellen at the salon. She was doing the perm I did the previous time and it looks really great on her! :)

The final result! Wendy trimmed a little layered for me in order to makes my curl looks more airy and bouncy.

I think my hair looks so much neater even though I wanted it to look longer, It seems a little too short for me now or perhaps I am not used to the length yet,

At first, I didn't wanted to try this two tones colour as I was afraid that the contrast will be drastic and won't look good on me but after being convinced by Wendy, I decided to give it a try. I thought something new, why not? Glad I did because I totally love the outcome. It is something less boring.

The treatment used for my hair. I love the scent of it! Thanks to this, my hair texture feels really soft now. To me, hair treatment is really important after a colour session. I really can't stand my hair to feel dry and damaged. Pretty hair colours with bad texture is just like yummy food with horrible visual. Who's with me on this?

I was told that due to my previous violet shade, the current colour on some parts of the hair did not even out. I appreciate the stylist for being honest with me. Some salons won't even bother to tell you or explain to you why the colours did not even out. Will be heading down again next week to get some colour treatment done. Hopefully it will balance up the colours. Stay tune to my part 3 post okay!! Also, hope that my hair will grow at a faster rate. I really do miss you my long hair xx
